Hand-Crafted Records

for Real Bands

BUILT WITH CARE, FROM THE FIRST TAKE TO FINAL MIX

Once a quiet church, now a place where guitars echo through 24-foot ceilings. Sawhorse Recording’s 30’×50’ live room was built for real bands — big drums, loud amps, and honest performances. Located just a mile off I-75, tucked in the East Tennessee mountains, where making records still feels like something real.

Sawhorse Recording has been building records since 2013, just over three hours from Nashville — an hour north of Knoxville and an easy drive south from Lexington. Tucked right off I-75, it’s an easy escape to the mountains when you want to get serious about making music.

Stay as long as you need — the studio has bunks, a full kitchen, and everything you need to live and create. The massive live room was built for real bands: you can track live off the floor or build your record one layer at a time. Whatever your process, there’s a wall of gear ready to turn ideas into sound.
